HLTV.org live from Katowice

HLTV.org's two-man crew has arrived in Katowice to start our coverage of the biggest event of the year so far, IEM Katowice.

The exceptionally stacked tournament is about to kick off with the two opening matches, which will see Vitality and Astralis try to start on the right foot with matchups against Ninjas in Pyjamas and Cloud9, respectively, after underwhelming 2020 debuts at BLAST Premier earlier this month.

The rest of the group stage — which has been made entirely best-of-three at IEM Katowice, including the opening bouts — will run in a closed environment until Thursday, when all the top six teams are found and the competition moves on to the iconic Spodek arena for the weekend.
