rallen to stand in for c0ntact in FLASHPOINT

Karol "⁠rallen⁠" Rodowicz will stand in for Nestor "⁠LETN1⁠" Tanić in the first season of FLASHPOINT, c0ntact's coach, Neil "⁠NeiL_M⁠" Murphy, announced on Twitter.

The Serbian player will sit out the first season of FLASHPOINT for unspecified reasons which are preventing him from obtaining a visa to travel to the United States and are unlikely to be resolved before the end of the season, HLTV.org has learned.

rallen, who himself missed out on a spot in the league after a short-lived run with Illuminar in the European closed qualifier, will take LETN1's place in Los Angeles, where the European team is about to travel ahead of the kick-off of FLASHPOINT on March 13.

c0ntact were originally hoping to bring in NeiL_M's former Imperial teammate Asger "⁠AcilioN⁠" Larsen instead, but, according to the coach, the Dane received another offer in the meantime.

FLASHPOINT Season 1 will run over the course of six weeks from March 13 to April 19. A total of twelve teams will participate in the league, ten of which were meant to be founding teams who buy in for $2 million each, but three are still currently unknown.
