moose returns to Envy for Flashpoint Phase 2

Kaleb "⁠moose⁠" Jayne will return to action for Envy in Phase 2 of Flashpoint 1 after sitting out the first stage due to visa issues.

In place of moose, Envy were forced to utilize coach Nikola "⁠LEGIJA⁠" Ninić in their Phase 1 matches against Gen.G and MIBR, falling in a three-map series to the Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele-led squad before being eliminated following a swift loss to the Brazilians.

moose's initial absence from the roster was due to him awaiting the approval of a P1-visa to enter the United States, as the original rules for Flashpoint 1 required competitors to play their matches from Los Angeles unless they had explicit permission from the organizer to play elsewhere. With the league now operating exclusively online due to coronavirus concerns, they have adjusted their ruleset for Phase 2, allowing moose to compete from his home in Canada.

When contacted by HLTV.org, moose informed us that his visa had been approved, but went on to say he would not be travelling to Los Angeles nor the team's headquarters in Dallas, Texas due to the coronavirus outbreak.

moose's return to the roster will prove crucial as he was the team's third-best performer in their online matches, below Buğra "⁠Calyx⁠" Arkın and Michał "⁠MICHU⁠" Müller, averaging a 1.09 rating over thirteen maps. Envy currently reside at the bottom of the Flashpoint 1 rankings as a result of their last place finish in Phase 1, a placement which they will look to make up for as they kick off Phase 2 with a domestic matchup against Cloud9 on Friday at 21:00 .
