Heroic bench es3tag, Snappi

HEROIC have announced that they have moved Patrick "⁠es3tag⁠" Hansen and Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer to the inactive roster with immediate effect.

The announcement comes amidst a turbulent period for the Danish team, who were on the brink of signing for FunPlus Phoenix before the deal fell through when es3tag agreed to join Astralis upon the expiration of his running contract with HEROIC.

In a brief statement, HEROIC thanked es3tag for service and wished him "best of luck in his new team", whom he will join on July 1.

es3tag and Snappi are removed from the active lineup

Snappi had rejoined HEROIC in September after a first stint with the organisation between 2016 and 2018, replacing Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg. He took over as in-game leader following Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer's departure to Complexity but recently relinquished the reins to Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller.

According to HEROIC, replacements for the benched duo will be announced over the course of next week. Their roster currently looks as follows:

Yes, will be interessting to see replacements. TeSeS and Farlig would be great additions if you put cadiaN back in the igl role and put a rifle in his hands instead of the AWP

Didn't buy es3 Heroic tried to sell es3 with 3 months of contract left and es3 signed a new contract with astralis after his heroic one runs out.

Not really. Just as #42 (the answer) above here say. FPX have a spot in Flashpoint 1 but didn't have a roster. So they talked to the highest ranked rosters that could play on an LA server. At firdt they talked to Swole Patrol but for some reason they couldn't find a mutual agreement. So they went to Bad News Bears instead. So Bad News Bears are still Bad Nes Bears but not during their run in Flashpoint 1. Right after Flashpoint 1 i expect FPX to pick up some other roster.

Well, its a big shitshow xD They were about to sign with FPX, BUT, then Es3tag went and signed with Astralis, so the deal fell through so it didnt happen. Thats why other teams are playing under the FPX tag in Flashpoint hltv.org/events/5242/flashpoint-1 hltv.org/team/10671/funplus-phoenix

Snappi should go to NA. The expectations for him will be low, the pay will be high, and he can turn them into a danish team slowly if he wants. -Nifty (out of IGL role) +Snappi -ryann +TenZ or someone from NA. It's important to keep them NA because you dont want them competing in the EU Minor

Of course. And Snappi will probably prioritize those teams so he can stay home with his friends and family. But in the off chance that those teams don't provide better incentives than the NA teams, coming across the pond is also a choice.

He has done nothing wrong at all. He didn't resign his contract, the most normal thing in the world. He is not a slave owned by heroic or whoever heroic want to sell him to. He works under contract and stops working when the contract is over.

I think that Dennis "dennis" Edman, the 29 year old Swedish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, previously of fnatic, GODSENT and Ninjas in Pyjamas will join the Heroic roster. Additionally, the Danish player Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen may also join his fellow compatriots as he is an available player, suitable for this level of competitive play, demonstrated as he previously competed for Heroic for almost two years before joining North and later OpTic Gaming. The latter was his most recent team until the roster disbanded, following OpTic Gaming being purchased by Immortals Gaming Club. Nonetheless, I wait with anticipation to see which players Heroic pick up.
