DreamHack Masters Spring groups and brackets announced

DreamHack has announced the group and bracket distributions of all divisions of the Masters Spring event.

DreamHack Masters Spring will be held in four regions, Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania, with a total of 32 teams participating in the $300,000 event from May 19-June 7.

Europe's Group A will have three Danish teams in play

In the European division, the 16 participating teams have been distributed into four best-of-three round-robin groups, from which the winners will move on to the upper bracket semi-finals and second to third-placed teams to the first round of the lower bracket.

In North America, the format will be the same except with eight teams, with a best-of-three round-robin group stage leading into double-elimination playoffs. The winning team of each group will earn a ticket to the upper bracket final, while the runner-ups and third-placed sides will start the playoffs in the lower bracket semi-finals.

In Asia and in Oceania, where the action will run from June 2-7 and 3-7, respectively, the teams will play a double-elimination playoffs bracket, with the opening matchups looking as follows:

I don't rate Mad Lions, Big or Complexity as high as NiP or Vitality, so that's why I said it is the toughest. In terms of close matches I agree B is the most balanced except Mouz.

Wdym B is the group of death, this draw favours the Brazilian bots so much, none of them would stand a chance in group B.

I dont think so... MIBR beat GenG/100T (at Flashpoint) and problably can beat C9. Liquid and Furia are better then these teams.

Group A Astralis G2 North This new Heroic roster sux Group B BIG MAD Lions mousesports Complexity really looks bad atm. Group C fnatic FaZe Spirit GODSENT looks really bad atm. Group D Natus Vincere Vitality NiP ENCE sux NA Group A FURIA Liquid Bad News Bears I think MIBR looks really bad, and after hard choke in FLASHPOINT they are not going to play well here. Group B Cloud9 Evil Geniuses Gen.G 100 Thieves looks really weak for me.

Only thing I don’t agree with is Complexity. They’ll take BIGS spot I think.
