Chaos replace Bad News Bears in DreamHack Masters Spring NA
Chaos will replace the recently-disbanded Bad News Bears roster in the North American division of DreamHack Masters Spring, the tournament organizer has announced.
Joshua "steel" Nissan's troops will take the final spot in the $100,000 tournament following Tuesday's announcement of Bad News Bears' disbandment, joining Liquid, FURIA, and MIBR in a stacked Group A.
Chaos will have less than a week to prepare for their opening clash with Liquid and to fully integrate Jonathan "Jonji" Carey into their system, with the Canadian player having joined the roster on Tuesday in the aftermath of the departure of 16-year-old Nathan "leaf" Orf.

Kicking off on May 19, DreamHack Masters Spring North America will utilize a best-of-three round-robin group stage, eliminating two teams from the competition heading into the double-elimination playoffs. The winning team from each group will advance directly to the upper bracket, while the runner-ups and third-placed teams will begin their playoffs run in the lower bracket.
With the addition of Chaos, the groups look as follows:
