supLex to stay on with Sharks

Mateus "⁠supLexN1⁠" Miranda has signed a new contract with Sharks until the end of the year, the Portuguese organisation announced on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old joins the team on a permanent basis after being brought in as a stand-in almost two months ago following the end of Olavo "⁠heat⁠" Marcelo's loan deal from FURIA Academy.

A former member of Keyd Stars and 2K, supLexN1 helped Sharks to reach the semi-finals of CBCS The Rising 2020, in which the team were defeated by Redemption POA in a three-map affair.

supLex is officially a full member of Sharks

The announcement came just hours before Sharks' first match in the Redragon Challenge, a $5,000 online competition hosted by Gamers Club. The tournament, which will run from June 9-14, will also feature teams like BOOM, paiN, Isurus and DETONA.

Sharks are one of the first 16 teams confirmed for ESL Pro League Season 12, which is scheduled to start on September 2. The tournament organiser does not exclude the possibility of the tournament being held on LAN, subject to the evolution of the pandemic.

What is the reason to use AbleJ as stand if u have a promissing guy without contract. I mean u wouldnt buy AbleJ so why use him for like 5 months then need to send him to furia again, also Sharks is in NA imagine the price of loan Ablej and they will have to play against Furia that owns him.

????????????????????? he didn't even prove he can be consistent on international t2 scene, he is a t2 SA player (which is something like t3 international level) + he is a promising young talent, PERIOD. He is nothing nowadays. For sure he can be whatever we wants to be in the FUTURE, but not at the moment.

The "in" is a way (not grammatically correct but understandable to any brazilian) to say that something is little...something like "little f4st". Zera at the end is just a slang. 3 letters name is like a legacy that I don't know exactly how it begun but comes from old CS 1.6 players to make them nicks short, maybe to prove (or something like this) they could be recognized just by the short form of their nicks, like fnx = Fenix (BR) or Phoenix (EN).
