As the two aforementioned events have concluded and Astralis decided to skip the Regional Major Ranking cs_summit 6 tournament, the Danes have nothing on their schedule until the end of August, when ESL One Cologne is planned.

arT took molly damage so the round was not supposed to be replayed. however, MIBR pressured FURIA into replaying the round. FalleN posted a video on Twitter showing that Fer's screen was going nuts and in the end FURIA accepted the replay, lost the round and lost the map. The controversy is the replay itself, Fallen not sending the video to admins for checking first but putting it on Twitter itself and Fer saying 'Furia is shit' because they seemed cocky and offended the MIBR players for not saying anything or agreeing with it. However their coach Guerri came out saying that he told the players to remain silent after MIBR requested a pause and that it's disappointing to hear them say that because the FURIA players do look up to them and didn't mean any disrespect, they just wanted to win

Seems like you're a little biased against MIBR. Nobody pressured no one into anything. Fer's screen was frozen in the part of the round where he was killed, as well as Fallen's. Furia didn't want to replay the round, so they asked for proof. Fallen gave the proof posting that video on twitter, and in the end the round was replayed. The whole controversy was FalleN actually having to post proof that their screen froze, as well as Furia players not giving a shit and being complacent with MIBR losing a round because of a server freeze. Guerri's video confirmed all of this. Thing is, damage didn't have anything to do with the round not being replayed. Guerri clarified that in the video explaining his point of view.

Seems like you didnt understand the source of the problem. It wasnt either team, it was the admins fault. #1 rules are strict and the round should not have been replayed. #2 mibr gave sufficient proof for the round to be replayed making it somewhat unique situation. The admins should have handled it professionally making the decision themselves based on the proof or the rules - either way the situation would have been way better. The problem was that they asked the Furia players if they wanted to replay the round which is absolutely bonkers - which they initially obviously didnt want to do as the rules are usually absolute. After that it didnt matter if they changed their opinion or not as if they didnt do it everyone would have hated them and as they did everyone said that they were shit and forced to do it anyway making it a loss-loss situation for the players and the team.

It's what I said: no one pressured anyone into anything, and damage had nothing to do with the round being replayed, as guerri accepted the rollback. The round was replayed because fer was killed while his screen was frozen. Even if rules are important, the players are the ones who actively play the game, if their voice doesn't mean anything, then this game is objectively dead. In 2015, Fnatic played against Luminosity, and Krimz's keyboard stopped working mid-round at 8-14. Even though he already had taken damage in the round, LG rolled back. The players rolled it back, not admins or tournament rules. The whole reason why this happened is basically: MIBR would not do the same thing as Furia in that situation, they probably would've rolled back the round as soon as the not live was called. If someone's screen froze at the highest level of competition, even more with Furia and MIBR being from the same country and supposedly friends (even if it is work), it's only natural that the round is going to be replayed. I do understand the source of the problem, I just have a different point to view compared to yours.

I apologize but you would be a terrible tournament organizer. I agree with you that the rules are not absolute and should be enforced differently in unique situations but giving the power to enforce them to the players is literally the worst thing you can do. What I am saying is that the admins should make their decision irrespective of what the player say. I've been following csgo every since it was released and every esports journalist/caster/analyst etc would agree that especially in the early days pros have been abusing their influence and power on admins about rules/schedules etc. It's like in soccer/hockey/basketball to let the players come to agreement and ignore the referees/rules?? If esports wants to be perceived as something serious and professional then it should be operated in the same manner. P.S Saying that mibr wouldnt do the same thing as Furia is biased unless you're one of the players/the coach. P.S.2 I am not aware of their culture but from what I saw most of the mibrs players were everything but professional and wouldnt rollback or at least would react in the same way Furia did.
