hREDS add xartE

hREDS have added Finnish veteran Mikko "⁠xartE⁠" Välimaa to the starting five, moving Verneri "⁠BONA⁠" Junkala to the bench.

xartE is one of the more experienced players in the Finnish scene, having played with 3DMAX and ENCE in 2014-2016, and since remaining an accomplished player nationally with HAVU, iGame.com and SJ, winning several Finnish championships and local LANs.

The 28-year-old was removed from SJ's starting five in June, when the Finnish organization brought on Jemi "⁠jemi⁠" Mäkinen and Topi "⁠LYNXi⁠" Kauppi, becoming a free agent at the end of July before getting picked up by hREDS.

xartE has joined the ranks of hREDS

During his time in SJ, xartE won a LanTrek and was runner up in two more, he also came in 3-4th at ASUS ROG Winter 2020 and made an appearance at DreamHack Open Winter 2020, where he and his team ended in 5-6th place, as well as winning a Finnish Championship and Elisa Viihde league.

hREDS on the other hand have slowly been making a name for themselves in the Finnish scene, finishing second in the Elisa Viihde league late last year and fourth in the more recent LanTrek 2020.

BONA has been removed to make way for xartE, the 20-year-old had been a longtime fixture in the team since his inclusion in early 2019, and was part of the squad that was runner-up at Elisa Viihde and Telia Esports Series Season 2.

xartE is a really good support player, but his fragging abilities are just really bad. I don't like this addition. I don't know why they removed BONA, he was pretty good for me. For me they should remove Samppa, because his fragging abilities are totally trash, Spargo, because I haven't heard much about him and honestly I think he is to inconsistent, eDi, because he is weak for me and I haven't heard much about him either, and they should build a new lineup around RAIMOVORMISTO and BONA. Honestly I think this lineup have no future at all.
