BOOM buy out felps from MIBR

BOOM has bought João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos out of his contract with MIBR after a long loan period.

The 23-year-old has already been playing for BOOM for the past six months, having been loaned from MIBR to round out the core of the former INTZ lineup as they signed with the Indonesian organization in February.

felps is now a full-fledged member of BOOM after putting up fantastic numbers throughout his time with the team. He has averaged a 1.32 rating in his stint with the Brazilian side as they dominated South America under the new banner, winning four out of five tournaments they played in, including the first Regional Major Ranking event in the region, ESL One: Road to Rio.

The nearest tournament BOOM are currently confirmed for is the upcoming season of ESL Pro League, set to start in September. In June, ESL announced that holding the tournament on LAN was being considered but admitted that it would be held online across regions should travel remain difficult.

With ESL One Cologne having already been confirmed as an online tournament, it looks likely that ESL Pro League will follow suit, which should see BOOM play in the South American division.

BOOM boasts the following roster:

yea sure they will buy felps for the 3rd time. even tho that they just sold him and yea, felps will join them again. another fairy tale please... no, it wont happen again. surely not with this mibr core... and kscerato would be surely upgrade for them but he would not be able to make them t1. not with kng in the team and fallen as an igl.

The organization boom is like a soap bubble that can explode at any moment. And to get him for free or for half the price, I think Mibr will not mind. They also need to create an image that they are doing something and not just sitting on the paycheck. You need to kick someone apart from your friends. If felps came a second time, why not come a third time, apparently this situation also suits him

they paid for him 150k last time even tho that they had a chance to buy kscerato for 200k... and i highly doubt that boom payed as much as felps actually costed them(mibr). and i highly doubt that this suits felps at all. i mean mibr bought him and then benched him like 5 months after? he was on the bench, with low salary and wasnt able to play the game. this would suit you? i dont think so. im pretty sure that he will not want to join this core again(talking about csgo team, not about org)

He said that the main reason behind his kick was his relationship with coldzera cuz coldzera really didnt like him And coldzera wont prob join mibr again anytime soon (lets be honest lol) so i dont see why we wouldnt join mibr especially if boom doesnt go well He is also a big friend of fer so...

yea i heard about that coldzera thing but i highly doubt that it was the only reason. i mean felps and fer in the same lineup doesnt work...or more like fallen isnt able to make this work. we already saw that twice. if mibr would have some intentions to add felps to the active lineup again then they would not sold him imo. they had a chance to let him play in boom on loan(or just for some small charge) but they would not sell him. we dont know how long contract did felps sign with them and boom could ask way more if felps will play well(and i think that he will). either way mibr did imo another really bad decision...

it worked bcs all players were on top individually...but when their form dropped a bit they were way worse... and it wont happen again that those players will be able to hit peak again(fallen, fer)

Maybe -kng + a good igl Fallen is still a god tier awper imo but i dont think he would give the igl role to anyone maybe the coach position would be better.But then you would lose fallen sniper which has a big importance in mibr i mean just look at how many clutches he has been winnning this year, pretty much saving mibr

The problem is that someone either did not come, he will not be the authority of which Taco and Fer will listen. If you make replacements, then completely replace this holy trinity, that is, in fact, create a new team. Are Mibr ready for such a risk? No one knows

yes i think the main problem is clearly on core of the team. they have not been underpreforming "that much" (ofc taco has been doing taco things lol ) but maybe they need to renew the team's ideas/strats? on other hand i dont see which brazilian igl is currently better than fallen... (art would never join mibr)

usually whjen you are under contract and get benched you still get the salary, but you get like 70%. It depends on each contract/organization how much but you get the idea.

MIBR has always made public the desire to still use Felps, but the agenda and Felps personal business were always conflicting eachother. On the other hand, MIBR always made it easy for felps to be loaned out because they didn't wanted to make his carrer difficult. Boom has to pay MIBR for the loan, so it's just a smarter move to just buy him at once, since he proved over and over again to be the best player in BR by far
