Ledpc protest against MYM win

Ledpc eSports Club have said they will launch a protest against Meet Your Makers after the Swedish team committed several irregularities during their match.

Ledpc have been denied entry into the Extreme Masters European Championship following a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Meet Your Makers in the second qualifying round.

However, upon watching MYM's Aequitas files, which every team needs to send after the match comes to an end, Ledpc have come to the conclusion that the Swedish side broke several rules.

On Marcus "Delpan" Larsson's config, the following commands were found: bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+jump" bind "MWHEELUP" "+duck", both of which are forbidden according to the ESL's rules.

Andreas "moddiii" Fridh's Aequitas stopped working at 21:02:49 and he played the entire match without it. In EPS Germany, for example, this results in the team losing the match and being given penalty points.

Also Sam "kvicken" Alvandpour, who played as a stand-in for Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson, did not have his steam ID listed on his ESL profile, without which it is impossible to prove who was actually playing.

Ledpc have handed in a written protest to the ESL, and a decision on this matter is expected to be made tomorrow. Contacted by HLTV.org, David "Kairi" Miguel noted he hopes the match will "at least be repeated."

Yes they can lol mym's actually team is not that strong as all of you fans think "ex begrip" was in the shadows for along time they can't do shit against sk and fnatic and isn't zet that gonna do anything..... ledpec is pretty strong (they were able to take it to the next level and be stronguer thatn e6.amd)with more one year they will be able to compete with top teams.. i bet that if they repeat the match ledpec problably wins ...

Don't get me wrong.. who knows to that with this transition to the mym organization (ex begrip) can step theyr game to.. who knows.. the only thing that i can say is that i watch the match and it was close so don't say that ledpec sucks.. i'm not a big fan of both teams but i can tell that ledpec in the last 2 year had steped up is gaming who knows the mym's new team do the same.. in a short future.

2006, x6tence(musamban1,drastyk, milicua, flipin and gummy)beat nip on inferno, i dont remember the event but i think it was gamegune... Dont say stupid things... I know now no one of the spanish team can beat fnatic or sk or any top teams now, but dont say things you dont know. It's true that mym really won the game, regardless all those irregularities... but rules are done to fulfill them... anyway, esl admins should decide.

I dont really remember, but in 2006 they won gamegune, if the match i'm talking about was in gamegune, probably was the final, but again, not sure :(. I was just answering that finnish guy who said something like spanish teams never ever did/do/gonna do anything xd

Well, I just installed my old cfg, it was mwheeldown duck, but when I joined the server I wrote: "unbind mwheelup" so it wasnt activated just in cfg.. Watch my demo if you think I used it.. And about kvicken, he wrote in STEAMID in the profile, not at the GAME. Moddii got VISTA, so it was some problems same with their player "XHAD1?"....!

do you really understand what are you saying? It doesn't matter did they gain something, our subject what we two were talking about was the purpose of word "cheating" - the way of using it. As you only think that word "cheating" is only when someone uses wallhack or aimbot, and it is not, cheating is breaking rules and the hacking is a part of the rules so basically cheating is only hacking it is as well not using AEQUITAS, not adding steam_id using duck jump on mwheelup/down and etc.

Usually I'm the one all for bitching about stupid mwheel binds but since moddiii's AEQ wasn't even running and Kvicken wasn't even on the right SteamID I would do the same thing that Ledpc is doing. Technically Ledpc should get the win but I think the match should be replayed and if anything is out of order with MYM then they automatically get the forfeit.

well afaik then vista = ~10-20kb aequitas file but it should still show that it was on during the whole game and cfg files should be there, only no pictures edit: "but when I joined the server I wrote: "unbind mwheelup" so it wasnt activated just in cfg" this should be seen in the aequitas file but i'm not 100% sure :D

well i examined my own aequitas archives and the config logs in there and i think i worked it out: you can see 3 separate configs in one log, the FIRST is what you used during the game (no mwheel +duck there, note the name "MYM]Delpan1-JamieA") the SECOND is your config file in your steam folder (which has mwheel "+duck" you naughty boy :D, note the name "PROSTAKER | Delpan") and the THIRD is some random sh*t with default values for everything and i think mwheel "+jump" is allowed, i've seen other players (neo etc) use that during ENC/EM games basically i'm 99,9% sure you're telling the truth

If you watch in my CONFIG that was used on the match you see one cfg with MYM TAG. with: bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+jump" bind "MOUSE1" "+attack" bind "MOUSE2" "+attack2" and 1 CFG with PROSTAKER TAG with: bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+jump" bind "MWHEELUP" "+duck" bind "MOUSE1" "+attack" bind "MOUSE2" "+attack2" -- Basicly, that means the config I used with name: MYM didnt have +wheelup duck just the cfg in cstrike map, but mwheelup was unbinded before match start! About kvicken: he wrote in the steam ID in wrong place @ profile, simple misstake? About moddii: he got vista, something wrong same with xhiroz, dunno why moddiis was cancled during the game! PZ OUT

Sometimes there are things where rules really doesn't matter. If it was really not on purpose and besides a top team (mix in this case) wouldn't do something like that. I would understand some semi-pro team turning off aeq and then start violently hacking or not adding steam ID to ask someone better to play. And there didn't happen anything so weird in-game that would have an impact on the match

if the esl dicides that the matches should be repeated all of you zet and mym fanboys will be surprised... for the stupid people who don't know who to whatch a cs match ... besides the game ended 2:0 in maps, it was real close in the two matches. don't come say shit that ledpec is weak compered to mym's team. all that i've to say is that the unique shit or importante that they have won was a iol against a weak sk team at the time and the "team" of h2k.. h2k was good but still they were a mix that after win dream hack with two mixers dicided to play as team and achieved i think a 2nd place beating the desmotivated team of sk and losing to fnatic at the final.. you are talking 2 many shit because of nothing i've to say that i don't expect a lot of them besides they are really motiveted because they joined MYM ... i don't really see nothing of another world.. now if you tell me that ledpec in the gamegune spain did a incredible tournment yeah.. and they can do better. If they let it pass, with no punishment, other player (for example) in next matches forget the aeq. or has not correct binds or any other thing that breaks rules, and he is catched by the other team, he can say "hey you didnt do anything to MYM players, why I should be punished?" If i was ledpc i would do the same. A wrong steam ID is a big mistake. If you played instead of ledpc, i can't believe none of you protest after discovered this mistake. Remember about Finland at ENC 2009, they were disqualified for that. And i disagree about MYM rules, i saw the match and Ledpc could win on Inferno, so who knows the third map result?

The tournaments rules are different from other tournaments, which makes it hard to remember what rules apply. It really didn't change the outcome of the game, because Delpan didn't even use the binds, Kvicken could barely play because of the server, same with moddii. If MYM gets penalty points or are suspended it's real bull shit, they would have won the game even if they followed the rules (sounds like they cheated or something, which they really didn't) so there's no point really, if admins decide to take action I hope they arrange another game. By the way, the admins should make sure all of the players have entered their Steam-IDs before the game starts, so people can't come whining about that when they lose.

it's not about cheating, it's about breaking rules. Many teams, like Vitriolic for example, (Loord) forgot to launch aeq., they won the match, later they lost it. Nobody said MYM were cheating. If you suicide or kill ur teammate intentionaly, it also breaks the rule, I mean, it's illegal and you will be penalized.

What's a bit redicolous is when you're beat 2 - 0, then start searching the demo for proof of the oposite team breaking the rules. The scroll-jump and turned-off aequitas didn't have any influence on the result. However, if someone else then Ledpc brought this up I think Ledpc would deserve a rematch. ESL has always been known for ridiculous rules etc. When I played in 4K.etqw we were once kicked out of the ESL Major Finals because we forgot to add a match statement... We were the only team that got a penalty point, even though NO ONE ELSE through the entire tournament had a single match statement. After endless of whine it all got sorted, but I am just saying watch out MYM, ESL admins are more strict than you can imagine, meaning that it wouldn't surprise me if MYM got disqualified, banned from internet, manager executed and sued for millions of dollars. If they however for once make some common sense, this is not a big deal and MYM should stay with their 2:0 win.

rules are made to be followed by everyone... even this "stupid" one. i remember that my team was banned for duck jump on ctrl (behind the box cheking for enemys) so i think they should replay match and see who's gonna win... P.S. if u SO like MYM you just have to be for replay match & watch them win it again ;)

It is cheating when it comes to gaining something on purpose,but they didn't,however. One can not deny their victory just because they broke a couple of "insignificant rules",I don't think it would make any effect to the result of this match. If ESL decide to repeat the game,it's acceptable.If they decide that the MYM lost the game,well,screw the ESL and Ledpc.

Nobody says MYM's victory is not fair, but they broke the rules and have to pay for it. If I make the same mistakes in a ladder match admins give PP's for me. what's the difference then? Rules are for all. I repeat: I'm not saying MYM has won the match because the rules has been broken.

CZ models + MWHEELUP" "+duck + No steam id + No aequitas. Too many PP's. What I can not understand is why the people say LedPC noobs...playing without steam ID is not fair, this is a noob action. How you know that who has played the match was kvicken? If the aequitas has been stopped, this is also PP's for MYM. If you got Vista, the program doesn't takes screenshots, but you can't stop it when you want. I agree with people who said MYM wins the match, that's true, but rules all the same for all and admins MUST do something. If this happen to someone here? What would you do? As you will know, this actions for example in Germany are punished with the match lost. Read this: Andreas "moddiii" Fridh's Aequitas stopped working at 21:02:49 and he played the entire match without it. In EPS Germany, for example, this results in the team losing the match and being given penalty points.

Raizen, you just proved that your IQ is lower than your shoe size. I fail to understand why swedish fanboys tend to insult ledpc team while the match was pretty close. Ive seen plenty of protests around 1.6 scene, so dont be hyprocyte, any other team would have done the same if there would be any kind of irregularities. I wont say if MYM deserves to be punished or not, its admins` decision, however nobody can deny that rules, minor or not, were broken.

Yes! That's the point! MYM is better than LedPC, and probably if there is a rematch, MYM will win, but rules were broken, so ESL admins have something to do. Flaming LedPC or Spain is useless. I like both teams, so if there's a rematch, gL both! :D

Re-match is all that ledpc can get, just to remind you there was a similar situation during the first EM season. PGS lost to GG while playing 4v5, but due to lack of aeq file from mayers - game was played once again, this time on good conditions so PGS won flawlessy and won whole finals later. No need to get angry, the better team will win anyways.
