mousesports round out DreamHack Open Fall team list
The European side came in fifth place of the closed qualifier to lock down the last spot at the main Regional Major Ranking event.
Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad had to come back from two separate losses to Endpoint at the tournament, in the first round of the upper bracket and in the lower bracket semi-finals, with the latter loss putting MOUZ into a last-chance match against Movistar Riders for fifth place.
The Spain-based squad was no match to Robin "ropz" Kool on the first map, Inferno, where the Estonian put up a 1.95 rating en route to a swift victory. He went on to play a key role in the much closer Nuke, as well, ensuring a 2-0 win for MOUZ as the European mixture came back from a 10-15 deficit on the second map to win in overtime.

Securing fifth place at the closed qualifier, MOUZ will join the brunt of Europe's best teams at the main event. There, karrigan & co. will hope to make up for a rather poor record in the RMR circuit so far, as they're currently sitting in 15th place of the ranking with 770 points.
The main part of DreamHack Open Fall will run from October 15-25 and will have $115,000 on offer as well as a spot at the $500,000 IEM Global Challenge tournament taking place in Cologne.
The final team list of the tournament looks as follows:
