The former Virtus.pro player's future is now cast into uncertainty after he decided against signing a new contract with the organisation.

Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński has stepped down from AVEZ, the Polish organisation announced on Tuesday. The EMS One Katowice 2014 champion had officially been a part of the team since June, when he was offered a permanent deal after a month-long stand-in period.

byali cited AVEZ's intense tournament schedule as the reason for his exit

The 26-year-old averaged a 1.05 rating during his time with the team, who were on the brink of entering the top 30 in the world rankings in August but have since flat-lined, dropping down to 47th. He made his final appearance for AVEZ in the Flashpoint 2 closed qualifier, in which the team went out 13th-16th following defeats to Virtus.pro and SAW.

"My contract with AVEZ has expired and I decided not to sign a new one due to the fact that our game had not been improving lately," he wrote on Facebook. "Our schedule was full of official matches and we didn't practice for a month (maybe we had just two or three normal training days).

"I suspect that nothing would change in the following month because we would again have a million matches to play and no time to scrim unless we practised during weekends without any breaks."

Piotr "⁠nawrot⁠" Nawrocki reacted to the news on Twitter, admitting that the team had plateaued and saying that "this move will be good for both sides."

AVEZ are currently at the wrong end of the ESEA MDL Season 35 table, with only one victory from eight games. They are also slated to compete in Betway Nine to Five 5, a $50,000 tournament that will also feature teams like the new Cloud9 roster, Virtus.pro and Sprout.
