DreamHack Open tournaments announced for November and December

DreamHack will host two more Open events for the final two months of the year with a combined $200,000 up for grabs.

DreamHack has revealed two Open events that will take place in November and December, with both online tournaments featuring $100,000, eight teams, and a best-of-three format which will culminate with a best-of-five grand final.

The competing teams will be determined through the ESL World Ranking and winners of a series of regional events across Europe, with the November event's qualifying process highlighting Nordic teams and the December stop oriented towards the Iberian region.

Two final editions of DreamHack Open will round out its 2020 schedule

KOVA and Originem are currently the only two teams to be invited after the former won Telia Esports Series S3 and the latter secured the DreamHack Showdown Summer trophy in July.

DreamHack Open November will run from November 26-29 and will distribute its slots as follows:

Europe ESL World Ranking
Norway Norwegian League
Poland ESL Championship Poland
Denmark Elgiganten Ligaen S15
Europe ESL World Ranking
Europe ESEA Qualifier
Sweden ESEA Qualifier
Finland KOVA

DreamHack Open December (10-13) will decide its participants the following way:

Europe ESL World Ranking
Europe ESL World Ranking
Spain ESL Masters España
Europe Iberian qualifier
Europe ESL World Ranking
Europe ESL World Ranking
Europe ESEA Qualifier

It will be great to finally see a Polish team at a big event. I don't remember when was the last time it happened. Also interesting to see FE team fighting with male team, will be really interesting.
