dycha, snatchie placed on transfer list by Sprout

The German team are reportedly keen on going back to their roots.

Sprout have announced that they have made Michał "⁠snatchie⁠" Rudzki and Paweł "⁠dycha⁠" Dycha available for transfer. The decision comes amidst reports that the team are interested in returning to a full German set-up, almost a year after going international.

dycha joined Sprout in January as a replacement for Nils "⁠k1to⁠" Gruhne and was one of the team's top performers, averaging a 1.13 rating in all competitions. snatchie was signed three months later following Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný's release and picked up an average rating of 1.08 while with the team.

snatchie and dycha are now on Sprout's transfer list

The team hit considerable heights after the player break, peaking at No.16 in the world rankings, but stagnated as the season headed into its final stages. Sprout failed to earn promotion to the ESL Pro League after losing to Endpoint in the ESEA MDL final and then finished third in Merkur Masters Season 2. On Sunday, it was announced that they would not be competing in DreamHack Masters Winter due to illness.

"It was an amazing experience to play alongside such players and compete at the highest level," dycha told HLTV.org. "With this team, we made constant progress, which led us to the top 20 in the world. The reason I decided to leave was to find a new place as I think this is the best time to try something new.

"I am hungry to compete at the highest level, and I cannot wait to see what next year will bring. I hope that this will be the start of a new, incredible chapter in my career."

Just like his compatriot, snatchie is happy with the team's results, but he believes "the time has come for a new challenge". "I believe I'm capable of competing at a top level, so I'll be looking for an interesting project," the former AGO and Virtus.pro player added.

Sprout have not yet announced their plans for the future, but according to a DBLTAP, ALTERNATE aTTaX's highly-rated duo of Fritz "⁠slaxz-⁠" Dietrich and Marko "⁠kressy⁠" Đorđević are high on the organisation's list of priorities.

With this move, Sprout now have:

afaik its mostly because Krystal and Denis have problems because Denis sometimes says "no we dont do it that way we do it my way" so basically Krystal cant igl properly.... Also zehn at one point didnt want to play in their team anymore because they always had an argument....

Yeah, kinda I would say him and faveN. I think Spiidi is a great IGL, but i dont really believe in Denis, I think he isnt cutting it in Tier 1, Tier 2 CS for a while. Slaxz and Kressy are the best 2 german players who are available in a worse team by far and Id love to see that change, but I also want mirbit in Sprout again as a support. Yeah slaxz is good, as is kressy, but dycha is a superstar and removing him is gonna be a major setback for them. snatchie is not the best AWPer but he's got tier 1 experience and that's worth a lot. I guess we shouldn't judge them prematurely, but this move bums me out. dycha is a real superstar and he's probably not gonna get a contract on any other tier 1/2 team right now so it really sucks for him.

There are some good pick-ups that you can get, since Thorin is an advisory role on the team, he could probably get those 3 since Guild has shitloads. aizy and MSL are good options as MSL is open to Rifle and not IGL.

dycha is definitly a tier 1 rifler, so kressy cant compensate him completely. But slaxz is better than snatchie, so an upgrade while the communication gonna improve due to the native language being spoken in the future!
