fer to stand in for BOOM
The former MIBR star will fill in the gap left by João "felps" Vasconcellos' benching.
Fernando "fer" Alvarenga will be a part of BOOM's roster this Sunday at the FlowFiReLEAGUE 2020 Global Finals, the organization has confirmed. The 29-year-old is set to play his first official match since September, for now as a temporary member of the squad.
The two-time Major winner is replacing his former teammate, felps, who stepped down from BOOM's lineup after expressing his desires to pursue other options at the start of December.

BOOM have been spotted practicing with fer since the start of the month, giving the lineup up to two weeks of practice ahead of FlowFiReLEAGUE 2020 Global Finals, a $70,000 event that will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The future of fer remains unclear, with a long-term deal with the Indonesian organization a possibility. He previously expressed his interest in playing with Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo in 2021, with a report from Cybersport.pl implying that the 29-year-old AWPer could be the next player to join BOOM.
BOOM will play with the following lineup at FlowFiReLEAGUE 2020 Global Finals:
Gustavo "yel" Knittel
Ricardo "boltz" Prass
Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes
Bruno "shz" Martinelli
Fernando "fer" Alvarenga (stand-in)
João 'felps' Vasconcellos
Fernando 'fer' Alvarenga
