Lucky allowed to explore options for 2021

The French player has stepped down from Heretics' active roster in hopes of finding a new home for the coming year.

Lucas "⁠Lucky⁠" Chastang is following in the footsteps of Bryan "⁠Maka⁠" Canda, who announced in November that he moved to the bench and was allowed to hear offers from other teams for 2021 before being released, and has also gone public with his wish of finding a new home.

Lucky isn't against continuing to develop as an AWPer in a new team

Lucky has been a part of Heretics since late 2019 and was starting for the team when they qualified for the ESL One Rio Europe Minor and turned heads at the first Regional Major Ranking tournament, ESL One: Road to Rio, where they finished in sixth place.

The team then struggled to reach the same heights again and ran into turbulent times, losing coach Morgan "⁠B1GGY⁠" Madour, who received a 7.5 month ban from ESIC in the coaching bug scandal, and Nabil "⁠Nivera⁠" Benrlitom, who was transferred to Vitality.

Unable to stabilize, the squad then lost Alexandre "⁠xms⁠" Forté, who had been in and out of the team due to health issues, and Maka, who stepped down from the active roster soon thereafter in hopes of finding a home in another team for 2021. With the project losing steam, Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey was also moved to the bench, leaving the team down to just three players.

Lucky, who accrued a 1.12 rating during his time in Heretics, has been playing the AWP since Maka's departure, and states that he would be willing to continue developing that part of his play in a new team if needed.

Like i said 45 times in my other thread: Maka will most likely go to a international team mate. Example: He could easily replace ChrisJ in Mouz. But i guess lots of people wont agree with me. Only thing they could do is -Kio +Keoz and let Lucky IGL.

I think Mousesports will not drop de Bong no matter how shit he performs. FaZe is committed to Broky awp, C9 to W0xic, so unless Poizon's health issues are very serious (Which I doubt and very much hope they aren't) there's probably not going to be an opening for ol Maka for some time.

He is pretty good, I think maybe he won't get offer from world class teams but there are going to be some interesting teams that would want to bring him to them.
