Austin "⁠Cooper⁠" Abadir returns to active play after nearly four months on the sidelines.

Triumph have announced the signing of three new players, confirming an earlier report by Rush B Media. Cooper has been enlisted to fill the spot left vacant following Paytyn "⁠junior⁠" Johnson's departure to FURIA, while Wesley "⁠viz⁠" Harris and Danny "⁠Cxzi⁠" Strzelczyk have been added in place of VALORANT-bound Ryan "⁠ryann⁠" Welsh and Erik "⁠penny⁠" Penny.

Cooper has been inactive since Swole Patrol disbanded in September, with his only appearances coming as a stand-in for Mythic in DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 North America and the first ESEA Winter Cash Cup.

Cxzi was selected as a stand-in for Gen.G in ESL Pro League Season 12 after Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele stepped down from the roster, averaging a 0.94 rating over eight maps. The 20-year-old rifler initially made a name for himself through strong showings in FPL and has played just seven maps in ESEA MDL to date, making his addition to a roster like Triumph a large step up.

The team's final addition, viz, is similarly inexperienced, but was a pivotal factor in earning Third Impact a spot in ESEA MDL two seasons ago, averaging a 1.23 rating over 15 maps. His debut MDL season saw him average a 1.16 rating as a part of Incognito.

Triumph made their debut with the new roster in Mythic Winter Cup last weekend, finishing runners-up to High Coast. Their next appearance will come in the third North American ESEA Winter Cash Cup on January 23, which will feature a boosted prize pool of $15,000 following changes to ESEA's league and tournament structure in 2021.

I have a feeling Shake is going to have a Daps like career which is kind of a shame. I've heard this Cxzi kid might be the real deal. This is the perfect roster to develop in considering Junior and Grim made the jump into Tier 1 from it and so far Grim has shown really well.

Cxzi have been a standin somewhere and yeah he was performing extremely well

No matter what tier it's in currently that's not what makes triumph important to NA right now. Both 1Junior and Grim both got their leap into Tier 1 CS through triumph, and while I doubt Cooper and viz get picked up by a t1 team anytime soon, cxzi has insane potential and this is his shot to get noticed by a t1 team.

Cooper- is really good, that's a nice pickup, cxzi is pretty good, viz is really good aswell, but although this lineup is really good on paper, I don't think it will work, I think those players are not what they needed, I think there will be more changes soon.
