The 22-year-old is in search of a new team after parting ways with the North American organisation.

Buğra "⁠Calyx⁠" Arkın has announced that he is no longer tied to Envy and that he has become a free agent, bringing an end to a 13-month-long tenure as a part of the North American organisation.

The 22-year-old Turkish rifler is open to offers in both North America and Europe, and is looking forward to returning to active play with the objective of reaching higher goals.

Calyx joined the Dallas-based organisation at the start of 2020, but was unable to make much of an impact in what was a very inactive and tumultuous year for the Envy roster, which took part in just seven events.

Calyx is a free agent following the end of his time with Envy

The team were unable to manage any notable results during their time together, exiting Flashpoint 1 in the group stage, Flashpoint 2 in 7-8th place, and failing to qualify for the North American components of DreamHack Masters Spring and cs_summit 6.

Despite the team's lacklustre results, Calyx was still a stand-out member for the Envy roster, playing a pivotal part in the few wins they did get as he averaged a 1.15 rating over 74 maps. Prior to joining Envy, he was a crucial part of the success of Space Soldiers alongside Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş.

Calyx follows in the footsteps of Michał "⁠MICHU⁠" Müller, who announced his own release from Envy on Tuesday. This leaves Envy with only three players under contract - Noah "⁠Nifty⁠" Francis, Nikola "⁠LEGIJA⁠" Ninić and Thomas "⁠Thomas⁠" Utting. The team's coach, Jakub "⁠kuben⁠" Gurczyński, was released from his contract on January 13.

w0xic dont like calyx...when they were playing in one team with mini and I think imor or someone (I might be wrong) the promised that neither of them would leave to join spacesoldiers but calyx betrayed and left the team, w0xic then became fpl god and joined HR and never played with turks again. I doubt they would make a team togather, w0xic would maybe do it just so he can clean his name because I dont think that any org is going to sign him after having a year of bad stats in mouz and them getting benched by C9 right after they started....and he has 3 year contract I think?
