Complexity take down OG in two maps in ESL Pro League

Complexity stole OG’s map pick, Inferno, after going up against five map points, before closing the match out on Mirage.

OG and Complexity both came into their match-up on the second day of ESL Pro League Season 13 with three points following victories against BIG and FunPlus Phoenix, respectively, although only days before their Pro League bout Complexity handed OG a beating in the DreamHack Masters Closed Qualifier.

This time around OG made it more competitive, nearly taking the first map of the series, but in the end weren’t able to exact revenge on Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer and company, who keep a clean 2-0 record going into the third day of round robin play in Group A.

A 2vs5 by k0nfig and blameF turned Inferno around for Complexity

The series kicked off on Inferno, a map that stayed fairly level throughout until OG all but locked it down on the CT side, going up 15-11. A timely 2vs5 by blameF and Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke on B started a comeback, however, which ended with a 1vs3 clutch by Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage in overtime to make it 19-16 in Complexity’s favor.

On their own pick, Mirage, Complexity were much more at ease, taking the lead on the attacking side, 8-7, and although the map got to hit a 10-10 tie early on in the second half, Valentin "⁠poizon⁠" Vasilev and company didn't fret and scored six in a row to make it 16-10 and secure the three points.

OG will look to bounce back from their defeat at the hands of Jamie "⁠keita⁠" Hall's men on Wednesday at 12:00 , when they go up against underdogs Renegades, while Complexity will try to keep a winning record against BIG at 19:00 .

I dont think OG is gonna beat fpx easily. People say they dont have firepower and they are gonna be against the team has the most firepower in the world that has the firepower himself that firepower might overcome OG that have no firepower according to people.

No one ever said that their problem is NBK. Except for some idiots. Their problem that there's no so much firepower in that team. NBK- was just a part of that problem. ISSAA is lately isn't doing good, mantuu is inconsistent also. The only stable performer here is valde. Aleksib is the only reason why they had some success in 2020. Why they got to two grandfinals. Why they had decent placements in tier1 EU tournaments. Now it's isn't working either because of little firepower. niko is a huge upgrade in that terms over NBK-, but seems like it's isn't enough.

With his situation rn, issa certainly cant perform as he supposed to. But its actually the more reason for OG to let him go, because this covid situation will not end anytime soon. The constant bad result they got damaging the moral of the team. And its certainly affect issa mentality aswell, as he obviously aware that he part of the cause. That why, letting him go is the best for both side i would say.

There are no LANS in the foreseable future. NBK performed miles ahead of ISSAA for his role, and his ping is better. Even if in a miracle ISSAA becomes a god on LAN, it's still harming the team keeping him playing while handicapped.

Yes I get your point. But ISSA is trying hard, doesn't lake of motivation and still remain positive. He changed his position a lot . But right now, he's a burden. Complexity is showing some potential, I feel like the core of k0nfig, poizon and blameF can reach TOP 5 together. OG has potential, they just need time. But I still thought that it will be an easy match for OG, I was wrong. GG to both teams.
