Winstrike lose team over alleged breaches of contract

The squad ranked 22nd in the world claim that there were "constant breaches of contractual obligations" by the Russian organization.

Winstrike's players have unilaterally terminated their contracts with the organisation, declaring themselves free agents, the team's coach, Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov, announced on Wednesday.

The Russian team, who have been inside the top 30 since February 8, will be playing under the tag ex-Winstrike until a new organisation is found, the veteran coach added.

Team coach hooch broke the news about the departure

"My team and I hereby officially announce that today we have unilaterally terminated our contracts with Winstrike due to constant breaches of contractual obligations by the organization," hooch said.

"We are making no public comment on this topic at the moment since we would like to handle the situation professionally and cannot and do not want to make the details public."

Winstrike entered CS:GO in June 2018 with the signing of the Quantum Bellator Fire lineup, featuring current NAVI member Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov. The team have hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks following the additions of former Hard Legion duo Vladislav "Krad" Kravchenko and Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy, reaching their highest rank of No.22 at the start of this month.

On Saturday, ex-Winstrike will take on LDLC in their first match in Group C of the Funspark ULTI Europe Regional Series 1, which also includes EXTREMUM and Nemiga. On April 13, they are slated to face AGO in the opening round of the ESEA Premier playoffs after topping Group A with a 7-1 record.

As of the writing of this article, Winstrike have not commented on the squad's announcement.

ex-Winstrike are now:

Russia Aleksei "El1an" Gusev
Kazakhstan Viktor "Lack1" Boldyrev
Russia Aleksei "NickelBack" Trofimov
Russia Vladislav "Krad" Kravchenko
Russia Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy

This isn't a small org, at least it wasn't. They organized Blast moscow. Yeah they didn't had much results, but when this org was created it had a lot of investments. Russian c9 csgo roster, but expanded to the whole org and with added multiple scandals. As always pure management ruins everything.

Also they organized a tournament like a week ago, so they arent a small org or without funds. Either their priorities were messed up or they just constantly tried to nickle and dime the players.
