[VOD] Discussing Vitality's slow start to the year on HLTV Confirmed with apEX

The French leader joins the show live at 20:00 to talk about Vitality's problems and their outlook for 2021.

Dan "⁠apEX⁠" Madesclaire takes part in the 'HLTV Confirmed' show as his team faces a crisis, having gone out early in the last three tournaments they played. Figuring out what went wrong for the squad that was competing for the title of the best team in 2020 will be the key topic of the show.

Where does Vitality go from here?

The 28-year-old player will help the panel understand the roles in Vitality better and give insight into why they decided to move away from the 6-man roster and bench Nabil "⁠Nivera⁠" Benrlitom. You cant replace RpK's role without rebuiling the whole team strats and roles, and no one wants to take shitty roles he Plays cuz everyone at french scene have huge af ego besides RpK amanek and ZywOo. -Misutaaa is Smart move till he finish school cuz you can clearly see that he is not 100% focused on game and he lost his impact at vita game but he fit the system and they doesnt have to force anyone to play out of his game. But fit wise Nivera is playing really similiar game to shox soo you still have to force one of them to play different roles than they are comfortable with, this is why i believe they kept Misu over Nivera for now.

They were good blast finals in january but they lost 2 very close games to astralis and navi then everthing went horrible

Vitality just need to stop relying on ZywOo so much and they will become a top team again. Too many times we've seen Vitality lose because ZywOo doesn't pull a 1.5+ rating out of his ass, and it shows as too how dependent this team is on ZywOo...

The biggest problem is that they are not playing as much for ZywOo as they did when alex was IGL, but for no reason after apEX's break they play different way, like they try to put shox in bigger role and use other 3 as a supports to this 2 man show but its not working like it worked when they used more balanced team strats, also they stopped using this pack mentality at t site with good agressive push and they play slower splits instead what made me really worried cuz its looking like strats from shox g2 igl days,than pre break vita. Also misutaaa is not 100% focused on the game cuz if im not mistaken that his last year at school and he is focused on studying more than practicing and playing game it self. Hopefully they bounce back after this long break cuz start of the year is terrible for them for sure.

the biggest problem?? With Alex you go to the final or go out as the last place. Apex idea brought a lot more consistency at a higher level to the team. Now they have an obv issue but also Zywho isn't performing. If zywho is really the best he would only play bad when HE has a bad day but that isn't the case he completes needs his team and that makes him not very helpful in a crisis like this.

the thing is they lack firepower except zywoo, if zywoo has a bad game his team loose.. it s zywoo life since 2017.. older player like shox rpk , already won lot of trophy they don t have the motivtion to train like young players and these newest teams getting in the top 10 who play a lot the game, rpk shox apex and misuta (with school) need to level up , their individual skill is not enought, tactically they are ok

I really hope navi and vita start regaining their form. I cant wait to see the clashes between the top 2 players of the game. Navi vs vita is the CIS vs EU game that I want to see. :((
