The South American side have been dealt a heavy blow ahead of their opening match against Vitality.

9z will attend the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown without their third-highest rated player and newest member, Martin "⁠rox⁠" Molina, who will sit out the event due to personal reasons.

27-year-old VELOX AWPer Rajohn "⁠EasTor⁠" Linato will instead stand-in for 9z, who are slated to face off against Vitality in their opening match of the single-elimination, best-of-three bracket.

EasTor will stand-in for 9z in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown

rox has averaged a 1.16 rating for 9z in the last three months, while EasTor has posted a 1.06 rating in the same time span; however, the Spaniard has been competing against European competition, a fair step up from 9z's bouts against domestic rivals in South America.

BLAST Premier Spring Showdown will mark 9z's first time taking on teams outside of their own region, and they will face stiff opposition should they surpass Vitality in their opening match as their side of the bracket also includes the likes of FURIA, HEROIC, and Gambit.

Portuguese and spanish are so close it takes less than a month or two to be able to defend yourself in the opposite language if you put time into it (though not necessary, explained why bellow). You see, when learning a language you always learn to "understand" it first, expressing yourself in it takes a lot more time and work. With enough basic understanding of each other's language (that both share millions of words) both can communicate in their mother tongues with no issues.

MR lost more points replacing them and even more not qualifying for the next event with Larsen superstar. Talking about success on the spanish scene (lol)... that was our all-time peak in majors qual. I mean, we didn't even made it with Mixwell (not saying is better than him ofc), we probably not even could made it to MDL if Forze were able to play that match... It's easy to blame players like some people always do, but remember the hate mopoz received and look at him now with time and confidence. Maybe the problem still in the team and its not a player.
