The Chinese giants passed this crucial test before the first RMR tournament, but not without a number of scares.

TYLOO won the first Funspark ULTI Asia Regional Series following a 2-0 win over Lynn Vision on Sunday. The victory means that YuLun "⁠Summer⁠" Cai's troops are now leading the race for the Asian spot at Funspark ULTI 2021, a LAN event that will be held in December with $300,000 on the line.

TYLOO were the heavy favourites heading into the tournament, which did not feature ViCi, but this was far from a straightforward title run. They were defeated by Lynn Vision in the group stage and also dropped a map in their first two playoff encounters, against Renewal and Invictus.

The best-of-three grand final kicked off on Overpass, where TYLOO only managed to secure victory in overtime after letting a 15-9 lead slip. Sike "⁠z4kr⁠" Zhang tried his best to keep his team in it on Inferno, even picking up an ace on the T side, but TYLOO refused to take their foot off the gas and ran out comfortable winners in the end. The Chinese giants will now turn their attention to the Perfect World League Season 1, the first Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournament of 2021, which will also include ViCi.

Holy sh*t, sakula and xf, haven’t seen either of those names for moons. Amazing players back in their day. wNv were unstoppable at one point, Jungle was one of the best players to touch 1.6 imo Any info on Jungle, alex, tK and mikk?

Rumors saying that Jungle becomes a dealer for some medical facilities and equipments. Alex is a general manager for an infamous esports club, and also a commentator/streamer for CSGO/PUBG. don't know about tk and mikk tho

I kinda feel bad for asia rn, they had like 5 tournaments this year but tbh tyloo could easily move to eu to play here

Actually not that easy. Tyloo is not a big org and don't really have a big budget. Last year TyLoo invested a lot on a long-term bootcamp in Ukraine before the pandemic, but as the situation went worse, they had to fly back to China, wasting all the previous investment. I watched a video posted on Weibo, a Chinese social platform, indicating that the Tyloo playing room that used to fit only 5 csgo players and 1 coach now has to fit other branches like Crossfire players. Imagine having 2 teams in the same room, I wouldn't think that is the most optimistic training situation for professional players.
