DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 group stage Fantasy game goes live

With another stop of the ESL Pro Tour circuit closing in, the Fantasy game for the event is open for business.

DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 will take place on April 29 - May 9, the two-week tournament split into group stage and playoffs with a four-day break in between. The Fantasy game will be divided accordingly, with the group stage game now live.

The Fantasy game, in which players from Gambit, Astralis, and Natus Vincere are up for selection, will also feature skin prizes in the official HLTV.org league, provided by our partner BitSkins.

The initial matchups in the double-elimination group stage, and the way the bracket has been set, will play a part in team selection for Fantasy. While G2's recent uptick in form sees their players perhaps undervalued, the BO1 opening game against Spirit could dissuade users from Nemanja "⁠huNter-⁠" Kovač and co.

Members of Gambit and HEROIC are going to be the go-to picks in the game, but their high price will be a limiting factor. Ultimately, picking great differential players from the likes of FaZe, MOUZ, or Complexity is likely to be crucial to success in the Fantasy game this time around.

The prizes for the official HLTV x BitSkins Fantasy league are as follows:

The winners of the official Fantasy leagues will be contacted via the email provided in their HLTV profile, and are required to respond to the email within a month to be eligible to receive their prizes.
