NAVI beat Virtus.pro to advance to playoffs, mousesports eliminate FaZe at DHM Spring
Natus Vincere are set to lock horns with Gambit in Group A's upper final, while MOUZ have another elimination series against G2 ahead of them.
Natus Vincere have locked a spot in the DreamHack Masters Spring playoffs after beating Virtus.pro 2-0 in Group A's upper bracket final, while FaZe have been eliminated at the hands of MOUZ following a nail-biting finish to a three-map series between the two international sides.
Dzhami "Jame" Ali's squad are set to play another regional matchup in the group's lower bracket against Spirit, which is scheduled for Friday at 16:45 and will be followed by MOUZ' clash with G2 at 20:00 .
The early elimination comes as a tough blow to FaZe, who have been unable to impress in every tournament they have attended so far since Finn "karrigan" Andersen joined the team earlier this year. The European mixture has now exited three consecutive events in the group stage, and they have also failed to secure a spot at IEM Summer following an unsuccessful campaign in the closed qualifier in late April.

Natus Vincere picked up a comfortable victory over their regional rivals despite getting off to a slow start on Dust2. Virtus.pro seemed to have the upper hand when they didn't let their opponents string rounds together on the CT side, but a forcebuy victory spearheaded by Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov helped shift the momentum, and after sides switched Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's flashy 1v2 clutch on A brought the Jame-led squad to heel. Inferno was just a matter of complete domination from Natus Vincere on the CT side on the back of a second-round win, followed by a quick closing in the second half.
Meanwhile, MOUZ took on FaZe in a back-and-forth series. The first half of Mirage rested on a knife's edge with the latter team coming out ahead before they put together a flawless defense led by Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Helvijs "broky" Saukants.
Robin "ropz" Kool & co. replied with a strong showing on the Terrorist side on Nuke to equalize the series without too much trouble, and it all came down to Overpass. FaZe looked in control when they picked up a 9-6 half on the offense and went on to clinch the second pistol, but MOUZ turned things around with Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand leading the way to force overtime, where they finished off the job.
