EPIC League CIS Fantasy game goes live

The first Regional Major Ranking (RMR) event for the CIS region is set to start on May 12.

EPIC League CIS 2021 kicks off the Major-qualifying action in 2021 with some of the world's best teams, including three of the current top 5 in Gambit, Natus Vincere, and Virtus.pro.

The Fantasy game for the tournament, spanning May 12-30, is open for action, with users able to create their teams and join the official HLTV x BitSkins league where skin prizes are up for grabs.

Currently, half of the sixteen teams for the event are confirmed, with the remaining eight set to be added to the Fantasy game upon the conclusion of the closed qualifier on May 11.

From the teams currently available to selection, it is hard to overlook members of the world No.1 squad Gambit, as well as Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev - despite his bank-breaking $248,000 price tag. The format of EPIC League CIS features a Swiss BO3 stage leading into double-elimination playoffs and should provide the best players a lot of opportunities to rack up points and pay off the investment.

The prizes for the official HLTV x BitSkins Fantasy league are as follows:

3. AK-47 | Asiimov (Field-Tested)

The winners of the official Fantasy leagues will be contacted via the email provided in their HLTV profile, and are required to respond to the email within a month to be eligible to receive their prizes.
