DreamHack Open June closed qualifier invites announced

ChocoCheck and Triumph are the highest-ranked sides competing in the North American qualifier.

The closed qualifier invites for DreamHack Open June in North America and Asia have been announced by the Swedish tournament organiser, completing the list of teams who will compete for spots in the main event.

In North America, Triumph, ChocoCheck, Third Impact, and Mythic will meet the four teams who advanced through the open qualifiers, while in Asia, Kevin "⁠xccurate⁠" Susanto's NKT and HZ will take on Checkmate and Renewal. Matches in both regions will play out in double-elimination, best-of-three brackets, where the top two sides will advance to the main event.

Triumph received an invite to compete in the closed qualifier

DreamHack Open June, which will run from June 29-July 3, will see eight teams compete in a GSL group stage and single elimination playoffs in North America, while four teams will fight through a double-elimination bracket in Asia.

A combined prize pool of $100,000, as well as ESL Pro Tour points, will be up for grabs, with North America taking the largest chunk of both with $70,000 and a total of 140 EPT points on offer.
