Underperformance dating back to the start of the year has caused the organization to part ways with the lineup.

ALTERNATE aTTaX has released the lineup around Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend, the German organization has announced, citing "underperformance over the past six months" as the reason for the decision. The team will be sticking together for the time being, HLTV.org knows.

"We believe that this team of young stars and seasoned veterans would have performed beyond our expectations under better circumstances," a statement from the organization reads. "Unfortunately, the global situation with the ongoing pandemic is beyond our control and due to these circumstances, the team was unable to live up to our expectations."

kRYSTAL & co. have parted ways with ALTERNATE aTTaX

ALTERNATE aTTaX underwent an overhaul at the start of the year after they lost Marko "⁠kressy⁠" Đorđević and Fritz "⁠slaxz-⁠" Dietrich to Sprout, with the organization forming a new team core around kRYSTAL at the time with the signings of the former GODSENT in-game leader, Karim "⁠Krimbo⁠" Moussa, and Max "⁠PANIX⁠" Hangebruch.

The squad was unable to deliver promising results locally and in international waters following the changes, which also saw David "⁠prosus⁠" Hesse step in for Stefan "⁠stfN⁠" Seier in late March after the latter decided to step down due to personal reasons. They placed 12th and 17th-18th in the last two seasons of ESEA Premier and failed to make deep runs in several other notable tournaments while they stagnated around the 70th place in HLTV.org's ranking.

ALTERNATE aTTaX boasted the following six players, who are now free agents but have chosen to stick together moving forward:

It does take time, you are right however the org is wasting investors money even though most of the time they are only competing against lower tier 2 teams and high tier 3s, at least in their CSGO division.

Kinda sad, the players are not bad and I think they will reform without krystal. Maybe they need to go their own ways instead of shuffling new teams from the same 10 people over and over again. JDC showed that it can work out and mirbit showed how it doesn't work out.
