The 28-year-old coach has mutually parted ways with the lineup ahead of the player break.

Jamie "⁠keita⁠" Hall and Complexity have parted ways, the Dallas-based organisation has announced. The departure marks an end to the Brit's two-year tenure with the team, which began prior to the building of the 'Juggernaut' and spanned across 48 events.

The move comes in the wake of Complexity's 13-16th place exit from IEM Cologne, where they were eliminated following losses to G2 and Virtus.pro. To advance to the main event, the European combine beat ViCi and LDLC in the Play-In, but also fell in a relatively one-sided loss to FaZe.

keita began coaching Complexity in June 2019

Complexity have struggled to find consistent form in the last two years, initially impressing in the 2020 BLAST Premier Spring Series group stage, where they beat Astralis and Vitality, but losing momentum not long after.

During the online era, the team were unable to post strong results against top tier opposition, a situation made all the worse after Owen "⁠oBo⁠" Schlatter's departure from the lineup.

Early hopes of a redemption arc with the return to LAN for Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer's men were also swiftly crushed following their elimination in Germany, and with the player break ahead, the team now looks to make changes before returning to action for ESL Pro League Season 14.

The move comes at a time where multiple veteran coaches are exploring their options, including Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen and Wilton "⁠zews⁠" Prado. With a month off looming, Complexity will have plenty of time to finalize a replacement for the British coach.

yea true, rejin is also a good call but I dont think they will look at nationality to make a decision Also rejin is banned for a few majors, on twitter he said that he is looking for analyst spot. So not sure if he wants to coach or if COL even let him coach when he's banned from majors

well I believe HUNDEN is still banned, and atleast reports show Astralis has interest in him. If anything bring Rejin on as an assistant coach, and try to land one of the more established coaches to back you during officials. Rejin can do analytical work, and obviously help coach outside of matches, and work on any map prep between games as well which is nice.

k0nfig is top 20 player for sure and he is the best on the team, but jks and blamef are also insane riflers. poizon is kennys like and rush is washed up

RUSH is just bad. He can barely get a single kill when all eyes are on k0nfig when they're holding down a site. There is no excuse for RUSH being so bad on the CT Side. I understand on the T-side he is a walking UAV with HR potential to commit homicide on the enemy team but yeah.. he is just not good enough, nor is poizon

Keita was definitely had a smart mind for CS but he never really struck me as that hype coach that you want especially on lan. He seemed to be someone who would work better as an analyst.

Something needs to be done at least. Everyone is bashing Rush but I don't think hes that bad. He is a support player, playing all the shitty positions no one else wants to. I am more worried about Poizon and JKS. Poizon is too inconsistent to be impactful enough as awper and JKS even though he has good games sometimes goes missing. The only stable players in the team is pretty much Blamef and K0nfig but not everyone in the team needs to have that fragging power. But awpers DO need to hit the shots they are supposed to hit.

It also matters of structure. I don't see complexity as a team with structure. One day, they bash everyone. The other, 5-16 against a t2 teams. Poizon or rush are underperforming, but except the lurk of blamef or thr risky play of konfig, I don't see a unity in this team. Nobody play for each other.
