Endpoint quartet sign two-year extensions, become "legacy members"
Max "MiGHTYMAX" Heath and co. will be entitled to a cut of player sales in the future.
MiGHTYMAX, Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel, Kia "Surreal" Man, and Thomas "Thomas" Utting have re-signed with Endpoint, extending their contracts with the team for two more years. Alongside that, the four players have also earned "legacy member" status, which the organization hopes will help with player retention.
Ross "RossR" Rooney, the former coach who has now been promoted to the General Manager role, explained how the legacy status will work: "Players that are stalwarts for the organization, that have been here for a certain defined period, have the opportunity to, in essence, own equity of one another in the team".

In practical terms, this means that any of the four players, as well as RossR himself as the fifth legacy member, will be given a portion of the buyout fee next time one of their teammates is sold off. Just in the last six months, Endpoint have parted ways with two of their young stars in Shahar "flameZ" Shushan and William "mezii" Merriman, and such sales in the future will benefit the players directly.
"We are hoping this [legacy membership] will help with player retention and align the interests of all parties at any given junction," RossR said in the announcement. Aside from the monetary incentive, legacy members will also be involved in the discussions and decisions about the organization.
The legacy membership isn't limited to the current members, with the status set to be given to any player that represents the organization over a longer period of time. At this moment, the exact time needed to become a legacy member hasn't been disclosed by the organization, nor was the percentage of a sale that will go to each legacy member.
"It is an exciting time at Endpoint, it has been so for the last 18 months, and I eagerly look forward to the next 24 even more," the newly-appointed GM concluded. RossR's step-up does leave a vacancy in the coaching slot for Endpoint, who have not yet settled on a replacement.
Endpoint, who are currently ranked 26th in the world, have the following lineup:
Max "MiGHTYMAX" Heath
Kia "Surreal" Man
Thomas "Thomas" Utting
Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel
Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas
