Singularity sign team with GuardiaN, seized

The two former NAVI players headline Singularity's new endeavor in CS:GO.

Singularity have signed a newly formed team mixing the experience of Denis "⁠seized⁠" Kostin and Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács alongside three Russian players aged 20 or under in Evgeny "⁠Norwi⁠" Ermolin, Timur "⁠clax⁠" Sabirov and Daniil "⁠d1Ledez⁠" Kustov, with Artem "⁠Fierce⁠" Ivanov coaching.

The team played their first tournament in August under the BEZ ZP tag, the IronWar Grand Prix, finishing in 3-4th place after falling to AGO in the semi-finals.

GuardiaN and seized will bring their experience to Singularity

The two veterans reunite since playing together in Natus Vincere between 2012 and 2017, after which seized was released from the team before moving to Gambit, Vega Squadron, Cyber Legacy and finally Trident, where the two first reconvened when GuardiaN stood in for them in June.

"We are a completely new team, in which we tried to combine experienced and young blood hungry for victories," seized said. "Our goal is to become a competitive team by the end of this year and then step by step to rise in the ranking and please our fans."

Singularity have taken a new path with this move after nurturing projects in both Denmark and North America, treading new waters in the blooming CIS region. "After being committed to the Danish scene for about 1,5 year, after our previous American adventure, we needed a breath of fresh air," said Singularity's CEO and Founder Atle S. Stehouwer.

"Therefore, I decided to explore our options outside of the national borders once again, where I found this hungry and talented CIS team perfectly balanced with young machines and experienced knowledge. I’ve high expectations of the team, and I’m looking forward to provide the framework necessary for this team to find further success in the scene."

guardian can hold his own , seized despite the criticism can turn out good though it's very uncertain to predict, everything comes to the three youngsters if they could grow in the limited time that these t3 orgs hold a team for (2-4 months) then only there will be any chance for them ... still wishing them luck

They are doing well actually. Just watch their Bez zp matches. The only team they lost to was Ago I think. With little time to build real structure instead of playing default they can rank up. And no one is bottom fragging on that team. It's not going to be T1 but T2 is possible with this line-up.

Well it feels great to see GuardiaN back, but I wouldn't expect to much out of this lineup, I doubt GuardiaN can be one of the best AWPers in the current meta, and while I hope that he can show up, I doubt that. But GL ofc., I hope this project will work, would be great to see seized & GuardiaN playing in a decent team again. GL boys.
