FaZe claim BLAST Fall Finals spot over Complexity with 16-0 on decider
Complexity were unable to come up on top in the rematch against Finn "karrigan" Andersen's men.
FaZe have booked their tickets to BLAST Fall Finals in Copenhagen after securing a top-2 finish in Group C with a 2-1 victory against Complexity. The series saw the European squad complete an incredible comeback on Dust2 before failing to close the series on Nuke due to a strong showing by Complexity. To decide the series it was a clean 16-0 sweep on Ancient.
"We are a momentum-based team at the moment, when we have momentum on our side we can just roll over people." Said FaZe's longest-standing member, Håvard "rain" Nygaard, in regards to their performance on Dust2 and Ancient. On the topic of their 16-0 on the decider, he stated: "I think the last time we played against them we didn't really play to our standards on the map."
FaZe will face Natus Vincere later today to decide the final placements of Group C.

We were treated to a great game of Dust2 to open up the series. FaZe took the early lead following the pistol round but Complexity's defense was quickly able to find their balance and respond with four rounds of their own to make it 4-3. Valentin "poizon" Vasilev and Justin "jks" Savage shined on the CT side, allowing their team to lead 9-6 at half-time.
After failing to convert the anti eco, FaZe seemed to have lost their chance to come back with Complexity easily doubling their lead 14-7. Facing defeat karrigan's men regained their composure and thanks to some moments of magic from Helvijs "broky" Saukants and rain, they were able to complete an extraordinary comeback, winning nine consecutive rounds to edge the map 16-14.
Complexity quickly bounced back on Nuke with an exemplary T side which put them ahead 11-4 by the end of the first half. poizon and Benjamin "blameF" Bremer led the charge against a struggling FaZe squad. After losing the second pistol the gap was too large for FaZe to close, Complexity only dropped three rounds on their CT side before closing what was a very dominant performance 16-7.
FaZe responded with a dominant performance of their own, turning the ruins of Ancient into an impenetrable fortress. With broky guarding A and a vintage Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer posted on B, it was impossible for Complexity to take even a single round in the first half.
karrigan's men swiftly finished the map, winning their T side pistol and completing the 16-0 on Ancient and taking the series 2-1.
