K23 add xsepower and X5G7V

It has taken K23 only four days to find replacements for the outgoing Rustem "⁠mou⁠" Telepov and Dauren "⁠AdreN⁠" Kystaubayev.

K23 announced the acquisition of AWPer Bogdan "⁠xsepower⁠" Chernikov and young rifler Daniil "⁠X5G7V⁠" Maryshev via their Twitter account, just days after mou and AdreN left the team.

The news also quickly follows the team's disappointing showing at IEM Fall CIS, where they won a single game to crash out early in 9th-10th place. The result also meant that the team did not qualify for PGL Major Stockholm.

xsepower comes in to replaced storied AWPer mou

xsepower had spent the majority of his time since leaving FORZE playing for bankaPEPSI, taking part mostly in regional tournaments and qualifiers. That team will now be looking for two new players, as Nikolaj "⁠kalinka⁠" Rysakov had already recently left the team.

As for the 18-year old X5G7V, he had been plying his trade for INDE IRAE, who most recently outperformed expectations at IEM Fall CIS, picking up impressive scalps over Virtus.pro and FORZE. The young rifler was the highest rated player for his team at the event, in particular his 1.42 rated performance against the aforementioned Virtus.pro catching the eye.

The two newcomers have already made their debuts for the team at REPUBLEAGUE TIPOS, where K23 successfully navigated the GSL group stage 2-1 to qualify for the play-in bracket.
