BIG confirmed for V4 Future Sports Festival LAN in Hungary

The German side is the first one to be invited to the $380,000 tournament, joining qualified squads such as SINNERS and Fiend.

A week after the PGL Major concludes in Stockholm, 12 teams will travel to Budapest, Hungary in order to compete at the V4 Future Sports Festival on November 14-21. The highest-ranked squad confirmed for the LAN event so far is BIG.

Johannes "⁠tabseN⁠" Wodarz and co. are currently ranked 11th in the world and have recently qualified for the Major with a 10th place finish at IEM Fall Europe. With the V4 invite, the Germans have a plethora of events to attend until the end of the year as they were already set to participate in the Elisa Invitational Fall, Dreamhack Open November, BLAST Premier Fall Final, and IEM Winter.

With only the four teams qualifying through the V4 International Cup and the Czech-Slovak representatives Enterprise locked in for the tournament so far, BIG are looking like favorites for the title, but that could easily change as more invites are revealed.

Three more teams will be given spots at the event through invites, one will qualify through the Polish National Esports Cup, one through the Slovakian Majstrovstvá SR, while the final slot is reserved for a domestic, Hungarian invite.

Maybe it's because they are inconsistent individually, outside of tabseN and syrsoN everyone has a day off sometimes from this team and I think that's the main reason.
