Sprout part ways with kressy

The 25-year-old player exits the team after nine months, with further updates to the team expected soon.

The German organization Sprout has announced the exit of Marko "⁠kressy⁠" Đorđević from their lineup following the conclusion of the RMR cycle and ESEA Premier Season 38.

Sprout peaked at No. 21 in the world ranking in March, a few months into kressy's tenure, but the team struggled after the summer break as they dropped out of the top 30, failing to make a mark in premier tournaments such as the IEM Cologne Play-in or IEM Fall Europe.

kressy is looking for new opportunities in 2022

The roster change comes after Sprout's swift elimination from the ESEA Premier S38 playoffs, losing 2-0 to AGO in upper and 2-1 to LDLC in the lower bracket. The team also went winless in the final RMR tournament, despite securing double digits in four out of five maps played.

kressy commented that the team had "some ups but way more downs" which forced Sprout to make a player change, leading to his removal. The player added that he will take a break as "the last few months have been pretty exhausting", but noted that he is open for offers in 2022.

Sprout added thanked the player for his contributions and noted that "further updates will follow any time soon."

that was on paper quite the upgrade for them big ac where literally top of the german league at that time even above unicorns. anhuin was looking to be the next decent igl in the lower german tier hadez was looking like a somewhat decend allrounder python was a promosing awper who spoke german even tho was a foreigner . all in all it was not that bad of a move in theory i feel like people may just refuse to admit the larger problem behind the server here thats all im gonna say about it

True, I think the biggest problem is the management, I never saw this version of the team play tournament outside of the German leagues for example ttc and cowana tried their luck and looked kinda good

+1 replacing Denis did shit for them and replacing Kressy won’t make things better either Kressy and slaxz looked way better in their previous lineup. In my opinion they should remove spiidi & enkay and look for a better lead.

Good decision, it felt like he was the main problem of their team tbh., he was so insanely inconsistent, if he had a good day he would play really good, but most of the time he had bad days, so good decision by Sprout. I hope they take some experienced support player and they will roll again, I think that's what's missing for this team. GL!
