Spirit and BIG a step away from Legends Stage after victories

The underdogs found themselves on the wrong end of things in today's first round matches.

Both TYLOO and Renegades find themselves on the brink of elimination, having lost to Spirit and BIG respectively. Both games were relatively one-sided victories for the favourites.

BIG now find themselves within touching distance of the Legends Stage

The main stream hosted TYLOO taking on Spirit, and it was a quick 16-3 on Overpass for the Russian squad.

TYLOO looked generally uncomfortable on the map, only managing to secure three rounds on their terrorist half, giving them little chance of making it competitive. HaoWen "somebody" Xu was the shining light for his side, posting 108 ADR and a 1.29 rating in a loss, with Zhenghao "DANK1NG" Lv just behind him with a 1.24 rating, giving the Chinese side some positives to reflect on as they go into their elimination matches.

As for Spirit, they ran rampant, with four players sporting over 90 ADR. Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev took the top spot on the scoreboard with an impressive 1.73 rating. The team now move to a 2-1 record, meaning they will get two chances in best-of-three play to secure a Legends Stage berth.

 Spirit K - D +/- ADR KAST Rating2.0
21 - 8 +13 104.9 84.2% 1.73
20 - 11 +9 96.8 94.7% 1.62
16 - 10 +6 96.5 94.7% 1.44
17 - 12 +5 94.5 84.2% 1.42
10 - 12 -2 60.9 68.4% 0.77
 TYLOO K - D +/- ADR KAST Rating2.0
18 - 17 +1 107.8 78.9% 1.29
17 - 17 0 84.6 68.4% 1.24
8 - 18 -10 55.7 63.2% 0.62
7 - 16 -9 51.7 57.9% 0.50
3 - 17 -14 32.9 31.6% 0.25

It was BIG vs Renegades on the secondary stream, and we were in for a slightly more competitive affair. Once again it was a poor first half that really cost the underdog, with Renegades managing a mere two rounds on their defensive side, giving them too much to do in the second half.

The Australian squad at least put up a fight in the second half, and that combined with the performance of Jordan "Hatz" Bajic leaves them with something to build on as they look ahead to the elimination best-of-threes.

It was Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz who lead the way for BIG, a 1.65 rating and 115 ADR putting him comfortably ahead of his nearest teammate. As is the case with Spirit, BIG now get two shots at securing a spot in the next stage.

 BIG K - D +/- ADR KAST Rating2.0
26 - 17 +9 114.5 76.0% 1.65
16 - 14 +2 77.2 76.0% 1.26

11 - 20 -9 49.2 56.0% 0.63

Who made the fucking chart? Why are all the results in a shuffled order? Makes no sense, should be remade.

Is the chart so hard to understand?

The results are all shuffled. For example, the 2nd box for faze is their 1st game but the 2nd box for big is their 3rd game. Shit makes no sense as it isn't ordered by anything. It removes a big reason why charts like these are made - to see how teams played their respective games. You might think that tyloo are WLL but they are actually LWL which should be a thing you can tell by these types of charts.

100% agree. Whoever thought that it's a good idea to make unreadable charts with vertical text should be sent to prison for vandalism.

You've never heard of a phrase "Step away from the vehicle" ? On my phone screen the article "A" is the last letter in a row and it's easy to miss. I didn't see the "A" and it changed the entire meaning of the sentence.
