The two Major attendees headline the list of teams invited to the playoffs.

After a month-long group stage and play-in, REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 has finally reached the playoffs, which sees the six teams from the groups face off against ten invited teams, the top four from Season 1 alongside six other invites.

Fiend, ECLOT, Entropiq, K23, Eternal Fire, and Dignitas all advanced from the play-in stage, while SKADE, SAW, FORZE, and SINNERS were invited due to placing in the top four of Season 1. The final playoff spots are filled by 00NATION, Copenhagen Flames, fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, GODSENT, and Virtus.pro.

Virtus.pro come in as the favorite in the playoffs

The format for the playoffs will be a fully best of three single elimination bracket, with a third place decider. The matchups have already been decided, and games will begin in just under two weeks time, on November 10. For the likes of Entropiq, Copenhagen Flames, and Virtus.pro, the event will begin just after the conclusion of the PGL Stockholm Major.

REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 boasts a prize pool of €100,000, with the first place team earning themselves a hefty €60,000.

Actually really strange, they've been playing really solid CS lately. Just probably flying under the radar because they basically only play smaller tournaments.

Or maybe the got invited but declined because they're in Pinnacle Fall and Funspark, which is doubtful. Although those events can lead to t1 tournaments like LAN sweet LAN and champion of champions

But also having a lot of tournaments is extremely stressing so declining some invites is not a bad idea

A very likely situation, Lyngby has been grinding like hell so might be that they are banking on success on those tournaments rather than spreading out too thin.

It actual takes a ton of work to get invited to any tournament. If you don't have a big fanbase and are top 20, then they sometimes even have to pay a lot just to participate.
