The Bulgarian IGL is now free to explore his options in the market.

Teodor "⁠SPELLAN⁠" Nikolov is no longer part of the MAD Lions organizations after being released from his contract and is now open to offers, the 23-year old has announced on Twitter.

The news comes more than two months after Nikolov was moved to the bench of the Spanish organization following a difficult period with the squad. Under SPELLAN, MAD Lions claimed victories at events such as GameGune 23 and Esports Pro Tour Summer but were never able to break into the global top 30.

SPELLAN was on MAD Lions' bench since August

The Bulgarian spent the early months of 2021 in the wilderness after leaving SKADE and joined MAD Lions for free in April following the dismissal of Kristers "⁠keen⁠" Dārznieks.
During the four months the Bulgarian spent on the active roster he accumulated an unimpressive 0.93 rating.

"Officially a free agent as of today! I wasn't able to show my full potential with this team, but I feel more than ready for a new challenge," announced SPELLAN on Twitter.

Nikolov is now open to offers and will also be considering playing roles other than In-game leading.
