btt joins TeamOne as head coach

The ex-player makes his first foray into coaching.

Thiago "⁠btt⁠" Monteiro has been announced as the head coach of TeamOne via the organisation's Twitter account. He replaces outgoing coach João "⁠righi⁠" Righi.

The news comes after a mixed 2021 for the Brazilian squad, who have seen their HLTV ranking generally trend downwards throughout the year. They have seen success playing domestically in NA, winning ESEA Premier S37 in June, but have not made much of an impression in international competition, failing to pick up a single map win at ESL Pro League S14.

Very long history my friend, but I can tell you he is alive and living his life away from CS right now. BTT talked about him during a stream some time ago since everybody kept asking and they are like brothers. As a fan of Ton, I'm happy that you remembered him, while not being a Brazilian and on a BTT post, shows that you were probably around since the golden CS 1.6 times and that Ton is still on the mind of those who watched him play.
