The Ukrainian superstar finally reached the summit of the CS:GO mountain with Natus Vincere's victory at the PGL Major Stockholm, and he did so in style with one of the most dominant performances ever seen at a Major, a 1.47 rating across 10 maps.

s1mple finally took home the one trophy that had thus far evaded him

Not only was he comfortably the highest rated player (1.47 to Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač's 1.36), but he also lead the event statistically across a plethora of categories including kill differential (+106), kills per round (0.95), and 1+ kill rounds (60.2%).

This MVP medal by HLTV x BitSkins takes s1mple to a total of 17 for his career, putting him just two shy of Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz's total of 19.

More like Chillside production and such. There was a lot of personality and cinematic artistry in some of these videos. I remember the whole old 1.6 Mouz roster because of a great team movie, or NOA with shaGuar and co. because of Chillside Two Continents epic. SK Believe and many more ... These videos were somewhat more engaging than a couple of clips pasted together with music and commentary.

nobody will ever reach the level of s1mple, from a pure objective angle

as a s1 fan, zywoo has almost reached his level and is a couple years younger so who knows what his peak will be.. for now though, s1mple is clear but i just want zywoo and niko to win a major :D

Nop...I'm a zywoo fan but hes nowhere near as good as s1mple. Like many pro players have said, zywoo needs his steam to set him up, whereas s1mple can do everything on his own and set up his own team. Despite zywoo having his entire team playing for him, he still can't reach s1mple level...speaks volume on how superor s1 is. Also eye test doesn't lie, whoever knows cs will tell you s1 is vastly superior and scary thing is we haven't seen s1 hit his prime yet. He just outperformed his 2018 year, which is considered, to this day, as the highest performance in cs history

this was a while ago but i remember twistzz saying the complete opposite of what you just said in regards to making space. i doubt either of our opinions compare to what a pro player says but yeah for now i think s1mple is better. (ill try find the vid) yes we can agree that s1mple is better atm but what im saying is that zywoo dominated 2019 and 2020, although 20 could've gone either way since both had great years. my main point was that zywoo is still younger and is performing better than s1mple did when he was in his first few years, perhaps that could've been because of his toxicity, therefore his teammates not doing what he wanted them to do.

had niko hit that shot, we wouldn't know what would happen in the last map and im pretty sure that the winner of the major would've decided the mvp, obviously s1mple won so he got mvp but im saying if g2 won then niko most likely would've and deservedly got the mvp. still that was only for mirage, which navi were quite dominant on vs gambit who must've had an off day or navi were just wayyy too strong :D but that is ofc talking about how the players were playing, not taking into account their emotions, e.g s1mple feeling pressure about choking and missing some easy shots so who knows, one click could've been a very different outcome.

Insane tournament, that makes the fight for the title of the best player in history of CS:GO so close, before it was uncontested that it's dev1ce, but now, I feel like it's such a close fight, and if s1mple continues to perform like this and NAVI continues to perform like this he will overtake the Dane.
