Apeks set for a "fresh start" as they transfer-list four players

Only Asger "⁠AcilioN⁠" Larsen and Pål "⁠Polly⁠" Kammen will remain on the team going into 2022 as the organization looks to rebuild.

Apeks have announced that they will be parting ways with Sander "⁠Grus⁠" Iversen, Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman, Fredrik "⁠FREDDyFROG⁠" Gustafsson, and Joakim "⁠Relaxa⁠" Gustafsson, once their contracts expire at the end of the year.

The move leaves just AcilioN on the active roster, around whom the organization will rebuild the team after citing a "big need for a fresh start."

The changes follow a difficult 2021 for Apeks, who underwent a big overhaul at the beginning of the year after Joakim "⁠jkaem⁠" Myrbostad left the squad for EXTREMUM, signing brothers FREDDyFROG and Relaxa as well as Rasmus "⁠kreaz⁠" Johansson.

Since then the latter parted ways with the organization amid middling results and AcilioN came in to take over leadership. Successes came few and far between despite the efforts to put together a stable lineup, however, and more changes came as Polly stepped into the lineup instead of Grus.

The organization decided to pull the plug after the team most recently failed to retain their spot in ESEA Premier, finishing 5th-6th in the Relegation process behind teams such as Movistar Riders and Copenhagen Flames.

Since the announcement, Grus, FREDDyFROG, and Relaxa have taken to Twitter to share that they are open to offers.

Apeks's team looks as follows:
