BIG, fnatic secure DreamHack Open November playoff berths
GamerLegion and Spirit were the first casualties of the tournament with 0-2 records in the groups.
Two teams are through to the DreamHack Open November playoffs and two have been eliminated on the second day of play in the online tournament, leaving four teams alive ahead of the final day of group stage play.

The transitional Spirit, who are no longer playing with IGL Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov and star rifler Nikolay "mir" Bityukov, were among the two first teams out of competition, having lost their elimination match to local rivals FORZE.
The match between the Russian squads was a gutting one for Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev and company, as they lost an incredibly close Ancient in overtime before taking a 0-16 thrashing on their own map pick of Nuke to be sent on their way.
The other elimination match pitted GamerLegion and MOUZ in what seemed like an unfortunate challenge for the Swedish-majority lineup, who had fallen in a very fought out series on day one against BIG while Robin "ropz" Kool and company were upset by MAD Lions.
GamerLegion weren't able to pull out a rabbit out of their hat and MOUZ took control as David "frozen" Čerňanský ran circles around the team featuring his countryman Patrik "Zero" Žúdel to end the 2-0 series on Ancient and Nuke with a 1.55 rating.
BIG was the first team confirmed to reach the playoffs as they took on MAD Lions in the opening match of the day for the coveted spot in the four-team bracket. The international squad floundered on their map pick of Mirage, losing it by an ample 4-16 before rallying on Dust2.
Ultimately, BIG's seven T-side rounds proved enough to bring it home on the CT side of a map that has had a defensive bias ever since it was last updated and the M4A1-S was buffed as Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz and company sealed the deal at 16-13 to take the top seed in Group A.
ENCE and fnatic played the final match of the day for the top seed in Group B, with the British-Swedish side making a statement on Overpass, their pick, right out of the gate, winning 12 rounds on the attacking side. The European squad didn't back down, however, and pushed back on their own terrorist side, but fell just short of the comeback losing the map in the final round of regulation.
fnatic then took the second map, Nuke, powered by Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin with 121.7 ADR and 27 frags in 25 rounds to push past the squad led by Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer and into the playoffs.
The final day of group play, Friday, November 11, will kick off with the first of two decider matches, MOUZ vs. MAD Lions, fighting to make the playoffs at 16:00 .
The opening series will be followed by the Group B decider between FORZE and ENCE at 19:15 , which will set the playoff bracket in stone.
The standings after two days of play are:
