GODSENT shut down Sprout lower bracket run to snag third EPL spot from Conference

The young Brazilian core keeps on improving.

The ESL Pro League Season 15 Conference has concluded, with GODSENT claiming the final available ESL Pro League group stage spot after defeating Sprout 2-1 in the last round of the losers bracket.

The result ends an impressive run from Sprout who, following an initial loss to Extra Salt, made a run through the entire lower bracket to make it to the qualifying match against Epitacio "⁠TACO⁠" de Melo and company.

dumau was integral on both of GODSENT's map wins

Sprout's map pick of Ancient was a pretty straightforward affair for the European team, with a big T side performance from Rasmus "⁠raalz⁠" Steensborg propelling them comfortably take the map 16-10. They also started the second map with a strong 13-6 lead, but a Eduardo "⁠dumau⁠" Wolkmer-powered defense shut down the Sprout side and allowed them to take Mirage 16-14.

The decider on Inferno was back and forth the whole time, with each side taking a string of rounds before the other taking over with their own string. A surprising CT performance from Bruno "⁠b4rtiN⁠" Câmara along with more consistency from dumau proved too much for Sprout in the end though, with the Brazilian team winning the third map 16-14.
