Imperial to part ways with roster

The Brazilian squad will remain together with hopes of finding a new home.

Caio "⁠zqkS⁠" Fonseca and company will not be donning the Imperial jersey in 2022, as the team and the organization will no longer be bound contractually after the end of the year.

Despite losing organizational backing, the core of zqkS, Gustavo "⁠SHOOWTiME⁠" Gonçalves and Cristopher "⁠ckzao⁠" Chalus that won DreamHack Open March will remain together alongside the newer additions of João "⁠horvy⁠" Horvath and Felipe "⁠delboNi⁠" Delboni — the latter now being on his second stint with the team after departing in late 2020 and returning in July.

SHOOWTIME and company are on the lookout for a new home

The news of the of the players' contracts not being renewed comes at a time in which they've been harvesting good results locally with victories at Aorus League Season 4 Brazil and CBCS Masters 2021.

The team is therefore already looking to strike a deal with an organization to represent when their contracts expire at the turn of the year. Before that, however, the squad will play BLAST Rising Latin America and the Aorus League Season 4 Regional Finals, the latter being a single match on Tuesday against River Plate at 00:00 .
