Sprout sign Staehr

Sprout continue to look outside of Germany for talent with the signing of the young Dane.

The addition of young Danish rifler Victor "⁠Staehr⁠" Staehr was announced by Sprout today via their Twitter account; the news comes mere weeks after Josef "⁠faveN⁠" Baumann was transferred to BIG, and Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun and Marko "⁠kressy⁠" Đorđević left the organisation, leaving two unoccupied spots on the starting roster.

The 17-year-old had most recently been impressing on the OPAA line-up, the highlights being a 1.27 rating across 12 maps in the William Hill Cup closed qualifier, and an event-leading 1.45 rating in a victory at the POWER Ligaen Season 18 finals.

Staehr was consistently the highest rated player on OPAA

He links up once again with fellow Dane Danny "⁠BERRY⁠" Krüger, who recently made the move into coaching, joining Sprout from OPAA back in late October.

Staehr is looking forward to linking up with his new team:

Yea french is shit but since we have the same option in Cyprus I know German is way harder than french, that's why the average middle schooler picks french. We don't have forced foreign languages in high school tho, except english

keeping Spiidi isnt bad he is a good igl and has alot of experience for youngers its the fact that they dont trust the younger german players. Instead of signing more unknown players from the german scene they wait until Attax/NLG play good international and then snatch players
