The 26-year old rejoins to his old team ahead of IEM Katowice.

Hansel "⁠BnTeT⁠" Ferdinand has joined TYLOO, the organization announced on Tuesday. The Indonesian will be retaking the leadership of the squad, but it is still unclear who will be stepping aside to make space for the returning IGL.

BnTeT spent more than two years with TYLOO between March 2017 and December 2019, leading the team to the very top of Chinese Counter-Strike. During his time with the organization, TYLOO reached their peak in the rankings, temporarily taking the #10 spot on the global leaderboard.

BnTeT left TYLOO in December 2019

In the closing stages of 2019, BnTeT stepped away from in-game leadership, taking part in Gen.G's inaugural CS:GO roster under Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele. He would spend more than a year with the North American organization, with their peak coming in May 2020 as they won the NA RMR at ESL One: Road to Rio.

In 2021 he would join the Oceanic core of EXTREMUM, but the Russian organization struggled to establish themselves as serious contenders throughout their nine months of activity in the scene.

"It's time to get back to work again! feels good to be back! I am going be the IGL for the team and I will do my very best! Cheers everyone," BnTeT announced on Twitter.

BnTeT will have his second debut for TYLOO at the play-in stage of IEM Katowice, starting on February 15.

If this is actually true, that's a bad decision on BnTeTs part. He is a really good talent, and EG is a BLAST partner and Louvre Agreement member. He would have had so many opportunities to play T1 CS and show his worth. If his only goal is to qualify for a major then I guess Tyloo would be the way to go, since it is much more probable that they qualify in Asia rather than NA.

I think the only likely candidate on Tyloo to get replaced at this point is Somebody, although I think it's a shame. Somebody was always one of the better performers at international events, despite being more of a supportive element. I would also be kind of sad considering the fact that he's been on that roster longer than EliGE has been on Liquid (albeit by only five days).
