frozen renews contract with MOUZ

The 19-year-old Slovakian is soon to enter his fourth year with the German organization.

David "⁠frozen⁠" Čerňanský has renewed his contract with MOUZ, it has been announced.

The Slovakian star is the longest-standing member of the team, having joined MOUZ in March 2019 as part of a large overhaul of the roster, which also saw Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen and Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker come in.

Since then frozen has been a key player for the European team across several versions of the roster, helping MOUZ clinch six LAN trophies in only his first year as well as the Flashpoint 3 title in the rather less successful online era, being named the MVP of the Regional Major Ranking event.

The 19-year-old's re-signing comes after the team underwent several changes in the off-season in the aftermath of Robin "⁠ropz⁠" Kool transferring to FaZe, coach Torbjørn "⁠mithR⁠" Nyborg moving to Apeks Rebels, and Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand being placed on the bench,

In their place came Ádám "⁠torzsi⁠" Torzsás from the MOUZ NXT academy team and French veteran Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt, while the organization also promoted Dennis "⁠sycrone⁠" Nielsen from the junior squad to name him the main team's new head coach.

The new MOUZ are set to make their debut with the fresh lineup in less than two weeks' time, in the IEM Katowice Play-in stage, kicking off on February 15.

He's not as good as simple and doesn't have the successes of device to entire the argument yet, but he really could've ended up there at 19 years old. +1 Frozen is a machine, Bymas improves a lot since he finished school, Torszi very very good Awp in the NXT Team... NBK idk.. I think he is a better version of ChrisJ and can be a good leader for these young players... And Dexter hmmm idk.. There wasnt a big improvement since he start IGLing... ChrisJ would have do better IGLing in my opinion... Dexter is a better fragger like ChrisJ... but eventually this whole ship can become good with the experience of NBK

What a bait from MOUZ, good for them that they atleast manage to keep him, one of the best riflers in the world imo. But is it a good decision for him to stay? I think dexter is really bellow average IGL, I'm not sure if NBK- comeback is what this team needs, I don't think NBK- is a Tier 1 player anymore, Bymas is average at his very best, and torzsi seems decent, but we don't know how is he going to perform. I would say that frozen is a new ropz, stuck in a bad team while he deserves better.

Probably there weren't any big offers for him from other orgs. Like which org would be a big improvement for him that wouldn't be a risk as a career move? I think now that Ropz is gone he probably got a decent offer from MOUZ, apparently Ropz signed for FaZe for a lower salary than what he could've earned had he resigned for MOUZ. And Frozen's position is very stable in MOUZ, he can learn from -NBK etc. I think he could do a lot worse than pocket a very nice salary, be the star player of a young team and then maybe move on later.
