Steve "⁠jokasteve⁠" Perino will once again stand behind the team while the coach is out of action.

Liquid have confirmed that Eric "⁠adreN⁠" Hoag will miss the opening stages of the team's campaign in ESL Pro League Season 15 due to personal reasons delaying travel, according to Dust2.us.

The 31-year-old coach is expected to be able to travel to Düsseldorf in time for the North American team's final match in group C, which will see Liquid take on Vladislav "⁠nafany⁠" Gorshkov's lineup competing at the tournament under the Players tag.

adreN will miss Liquid's first four matches

The team's General Manager, jokasteve, will stand behind the team until adreN returns — a role he will be familiar with after he stepped in for the coach once before at PGL Major Stockholm late last year.

In the first four matches in Group C where the American manager is expected to stand in, Liquid will face BIG, GODSENT, Movistar Riders, and Party Astronauts, in that order, from March 23-26.

In Germany, the North American side will be hoping to improve from their first two showings with the new lineup featuring Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon, Nick "⁠nitr0⁠" Cannella, Josh "⁠oSee⁠" Ohm, after they came away with last place finishes in the BLAST Premier Spring Groups and IEM Katowice.
