ENCE go 2-0 in ESL Pro League with victory over Vitality

Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer and his men continue to impress having now defeated two Group B favorites.

The second day of of ESL Pro League's Group B got underway with a match between two of the winners in the first day of play, Vitality and ENCE, in a group that has been thrown wide open as dark horses ENCE and FURIA got opening victories over FaZe and Outsiders, respectively.

ENCE once again made a case for themselves as a team with playoff potential by scoring a victory over Vitality, winning a clean 2-0 series with a dominating performance on their Mirage map pick, 16-8, followed up with a 16-11 on Dust2.

Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut, who put in a big showing in Vitality’s opener against Sprout, was particularly silent against ENCE, who kept the French star to only 12 kills on Dust2.

Maden was a nightmare for Vitality on Dust2 with 111 ADR

ENCE got off to a banging start on Mirage, winning the first pistol round and three of the following four rounds on the attack as Vitality struggled to stay afloat after losing a crucial anti-forcebuy in the 12th round that opened up the half for Snappi’s men to take a 9-6 lead at the switch.

Eetu "⁠sAw⁠" Saha’s boys didn’t let up on the CT side and put up a strong defense after winning the second pistol round, keeping Vitality to less than ten rounds by the end of it as they closed their map out 16-8.

Olek "⁠hades⁠" Miskiewicz and company got ahead on Dust2 as well, starting on the CT side, but Vitality were quick to respond with Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif leading the charge to turn a six round streak into an 8-7 lead at the half. apEX’s men then won the second pistol round, but were unable to follow it up, giving ENCE a way back into the lead.

Down 9-12, Magisk and Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen saved back-to-back retakes to stay in the game, but to no avail as Snappi called his team to a 16-11 victory with Pavle "⁠Maden⁠" Bošković putting in big damage round after round.

ENCE will now go on to play Outsiders on Friday with hopes of keeping their undefeated record alive, while Vitality will be looking to bounce back from their defeat at the hands of ENCE against the Brazilians of FURIA.
